Breathe.Move.Play focuses on mind and body, integrating coaching, mindfulness and psycho-education with movement, stretching and massage, to assist you in enhancing your overall health and well-being.
Sessions incorporate a combination of modalities as one-on-one and group sessions, as well as retreats, corporate wellness workshops and sports events.
This niche approach assists you in developing skills and knowledge that empower you in creating a healthy and balanced mind and body. Each of us comes from a unique eco-system, as each of our environment, beliefs, experiences and mind and bodies are different, which plays a key part in how we each live our lives.
So, whether you are a cyclist, golfer, runner, surfer, gym-goer - or someone who does not move your body that often - it is important to build awareness, and understand how to incorporate movement into your life, in ways that align with you.
Understanding your mind and body will allow you to become more connected to, and aware of, yourself - inside and outside the body, as you embark on this process.
The focus is on YOU, and who you are, outside of your social roles and constructs. This is not a generalised, transferable approach. It is authentic and real - it is about achieving actual results aligned to your specific needs, goals and lifestyle.
As a qualified social worker, massage therapist and movement and yoga practitioner (MA; BSW (Hons.); BA; RYT-200 Reg: 331947; SACSSP Reg: 1043208) - with a passion for sports, mental and physical health, nutrition and fitness - I share my scientific knowledge and experience. This enhances the credibility of this practice, as I take an evidence-based approach.
Through these sessions we work together, so you can become your own teacher.
